Hike For the Homeless

2018 Hike for the Homeless

When: March 3, 2018 at 8:30 am

McDowell Mountain Regional Park Trail options include a 4.5 mile moderate level hike and a 1.5 mile hike. Thunderbird Conservation Park offers a 1.5 and 4 mile hike.

Why: Every year, thousands of individuals face homelessness and poverty in Maricopa County alone. St. Joseph the Worker tackles this problem head on with client-centered programming. By breaking down common barriers to job search (such as lack of transportation, interview skills, or access to computers) our dedicated team of staff and volunteers assists individuals to find quality employment. By offering this kind of support, St. Joseph the Worker has positioned itself as a key resource to individuals in our community facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles. So hike with us. Your support changes lives.
