Moving the Needle on Poverty through Employment
Gather your friends and colleagues, put on your hiking boots, and enjoy the beautiful desert scenery! Your support of the Hike for the Homeless empowers those experiencing homelessness and poverty to gain self-sufficiency through quality employment. In fact, the Hike for the Homeless helped SJW empower 3,681 people to get back to work last year! We’re moving the needle on poverty and homelessness, we can’t do it without you!

What to Expect:
There are two trail options; A leisurely 1.5 mile out-and-back trail and a more moderate 4.5 mile loop. Enjoy free breakfast burritos from San Tan Brewing Company, covered ramadas, restrooms, music, a rock wall, music, fun team competitions, Hike for the Homeless 2020 souvenir bandannas, plentiful parking, and good karma for supporting SJW’s mission!
Put a hiking team together and join in on some friendly competition! Trophies will be awarded to the following teams:
Most Spirited Team: Get creative and show off your Hike for the Homeless spirit!
Coolest Team Mascot: Pets are welcome!
Most Athletic Team: First whole team to complete the 4.5 mile hike wins!
Largest Team: The more, the merrier!
