St. Joseph the Worker helps hundreds of people secure quality employment each year. Whatever obstacles you are facing, if you are serious about employment, St. Joseph the Worker can help! There are no fees for our services.

St. Joseph the Worker is able to assist currently registered clients with specific job search and employment needs. These vary depending on your specific situation. While using St. Joseph the Worker services, you will need to be dedicated to your job search. This may include tracking job applications and visiting the office consistently.

To become a client, you need:

To fill out an application form
To attend a 30 minute intake interview with a job developer, scheduled on a first come, first serve basis by the day. Call our office for more information or if you are working with another agency and have a referral for services.
To successfully complete our 3-hour Job Readiness Workshop

When visiting our office for the first time, you will need:

State issued Photo ID
Social Security Card
To have shelter of some kind and not be sleeping on the street

Visit or bring a completed application to our office, locatedon the Human Services Campus, South of Jefferson Street on 12th Avenue in the Lodestar Day Resource Center.

Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 11:00 am & 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Friday 7:30 am – 11:00 am & 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

If you are a current client and cannot obtain resources during normal office hours, please contact your assigned Job Developer to set up an appointment to discuss your specific needs and situation.

Volunteers are needed to help individuals succeed in obtaining employment both at our home office On-Campus and at Off-Campus partner sites.
