St. Joseph the Worker's 11th Annual Hike for the Homeless

Thanks to all the participants, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and staff for making this event a success!

There were at least 1,200 participants and over $52,000 was netted. All of these funds will directly assist homeless and underserved individuals gain employment.

Team Awards

Congratulations to Xavier College Preparatory for having the largest team and winning the traveling trophy.

Brophy College Preparatory was the team that raised the most funds.

Estrella Mountain Elementary School showed up to the Hike for the Homeless with the most spirit! (Special thanks to Hickman's Family Farms for sponsoring these energetic hikers!)

Supporter Prize

Congratulations to Trisha, who won the fabulous prizes from REI for her efforts in securing extra donations this year. (For every $100 participants raised beyond their own registration fee, they were entered into this exclusive raffle).

Rim Runner Summit Poles

Highlights

  • Our Lady of Perpertual Help School provided face-painting for participants.
  • Desert Edge put on a 'bake sale,' offering special treats for the crowd.
  • Hickman's Family Farms provided delicious breakfast burritos.
  • REI was a big supporter this year, offering publicity, a booth at the event and the Supporter Grand Prize.
  • 98.7 The Peak provided music and a microphone for our speakers all morning.
